2021 GSP WINNER

2019 Gold Cup Winner
2018 Grand Senior President’s Cup Winner
The Grand Senior President’s Cup is awarded to the top Alpha Sigma Phi chapter in each of their three divisions; small chapter, medium chapter, and large chapter. Over the summer of 2018 our Eta Xi chapter won the medium sized chapter GSP Cup. This cup recognizes our chapters outstanding work all across the board including community service, philanthropy, and campus presence.
Community Service
Our brotherhood would not be the same without our incredible community. Alpha Sig has teamed up with RMFI, the Humane Society, Clean the Stream and many more to make a meaningful impact on our local area.
Academics
Academics come first. We have regularly scheduled study times in the library where brothers will meet up to work on homework and projects. We hold our members to high academic standards, which is supported by our chapter’s overall GPA exceeding the average GPA at UCCS.
Philanthropy
We pride ourselves on our philanthropic efforts. We regularly table on our campus to spread awareness for our five philanthropic organizations:
In spring 2017, our chapter hosted a 3v3 Basketball tournament to spread awareness for RAINN while also raising hundreds of dollars for their foundation.
Bettering the man is more than just bettering the self
In Colorado Springs, Alpha Sig has made a difference through service efforts to better our community. These activities range from building new trails for our public parks to making lunches for the homeless.
Alpha Sigma Phi is committed to changing the community
Alpha Sigma Phi is committed to changing the community through the efforts of the better men we become through this brotherhood. We commit our energy towards philanthropic events and community service.
Alpha Sigma Phi is officially partnered with five national nonprofit organizations:
RAINN: RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline and frequently reaches millions with important updates and information on sexual violence prevention.
Aware Awake Alive: Aware Awake Alive prevents loss of life due to alcohol poisoning by educating teens, young adults, and parents on the dangers and symptoms of alcohol overdose.
Shatterproof: Conceptualized in 2013 by Gary Mendell, Shatterproof is working hard to transform addiction treatment in America. Together with their passionate community of supporters, they’re committed to creating structural change that will turn the tide of the addiction crisis, helping every American with a substance use disorder find science-based treatment and lasting recovery.
Active Minds: Founded in 2001 by Alison Malmon after her brother’s suicide, Active Minds has dedicated their mission to saving lives and to building stronger families and communities. Through education, research, advocacy, and a focus on students and young adults ages 14–25, Active Minds is opening up the conversation about mental health and creating lasting change in the way mental health is talked about, cared for, and valued in the United States.
Homes for our Troops: Homes for our Troops assists severely injured Veterans and families by raising money, providing building materials and professional labor, and coordinating the process of building a home for maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently.
