Founded at Yale University on December 6, 1845, Alpha Sigma Phi has a vision to Better the World through Better Men, and we continue to be the organization of choice for collegiate men founded on the values of Silence, Charity, Purity, Honor, and Patriotism.
As a national organization, Alpha Sigma Phi is the fastest growing fraternity in the world and continues to grow exponentially each year. Alpha Sig holds two national conferences each year where members of the executive board are flown out to locations such as Virginia Beach, Raleigh, Indianapolis, and St. Louis to plan out the future of our chapter. These events are fully funded by our generous alumni and members have the opportunity to connect with brothers from around the world.
The Eta Xi chapter at UCCS was founded in the fall of 2015 and has grown to become the most involved fraternity on campus with 40 active, engaged, and contributing brothers. We received our charter and recognition as a chapter from nationals in April of 2016.
Alpha Sigma Phi at UCCS has also earned numerous awards in recent years such as the Brotherhood Award, Rising Greek Leaders Award, and in 2017 was awarded the Silver Cup by our national organization which is given to the top 10% of Alpha Sig chapters worldwide. In 2018 The Grand Senior President’s Cup was awarded to the top Alpha Sigma Phi chapter in each of their three divisions; small chapter, medium chapter, and large chapter. Over the summer of 2018 our Eta Xi chapter won the medium sized chapter GSP Cup. During the summers of 2019, and 2020 we earned our Gold Cups. During the fall semester of 2021 Eta Xi received their second GSP in only 5 years of existence.
